Views of Innsbruck, Austria.

This photo was taken from within the Golden Roof building showing the balcony from which I took the above photos.

Innsbruck, Austria. Most of the overhead photos were taken from the top of the tower on the right hand side of this photo.

Mozart appears more popular because of the chocolates than the music!

Mozart candy, Mozart liquor--it must be Austria!

A free film of highlights from last year's classical music festival with the castle in the background in Salzburg, Austria

Is this display in a shop window really modern?

This photo is not perfect, but it shows how some people wore traditional Austrian clothes.

My last photos from the castle in Salzburg, Austria. The waiter told me when I ordered the beer that it was the best one, and so good that I'd need to order one more, and he was right!

The view from my table also convinced me to stay longer.

View in the other direction.

An attempt to be artistic.

In Salzburg, Austria, the square was set up for a free classical concert.

I just liked this door.

On the walk up to the castle. I saved some money by not taking the funicular.

Photo taken from the castle. The isolated house belonged to the executioner. No one lived near him.

Salzburg, Austria

There was a month long classical musical festival, and it began the day I arrived so for the first day many of the concerts were free, like in this church.

I wonder if this statue was built before or after the ubiqitious Mozart gold-colored chocolate balls appeared. The young boy, with help from his father (who is wearing traditional Austrian clothes), played chess against the old man. The old man won.

Look at how the kid below tries to prevent the ball from falling.

Many stores sell only Mozart chocolate in Salzburg, Austria.

Pizza pretzels, chocolate pretzels, salt pretzels, cheese pretzels...
