These are the last photos from Bangkok until I go back again. These are photos of the Grand Palace. They have very strict dress code requirements--no shorts allowed. I like the third photo below. The girl had just realized that she stepped into the way of the photo.

At the Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn)


 

At one spot along the river, people are encouraged to feed the fish bread. Fat fish compete to devour it, and it disappears in seconds. Further down the river fishermen catch the fish.
 

Below is the view from my hotel room. I took a trip on a longboat on the canals. I bargained down the price from 1400 Bht to 800 but I'm still sure I got ripped off. In Bangkok, I constantly had to be on guard to avoid being taken advantage of as a tourist.

Last photo from the park of the Temple of Heaven. It's a gigantic park with many old trees planted and cultivated too regularly to look like a real forest.
