In Danshui, Taiwan.
At the front of the National Palace Museum. I'm trying to imitate the expression of this statue. Having the sun shine directly in your eyes makes it easy to do.

Near the night market in Taipei. A kind of rice cake. I chose the chocolate one.
Fresh guava.

More photos from Taiwan. I thought this building was a temple at first, but it was only a souvenir store/restaurant as far as I could tell.

The flowers below can be used to make herbal tea.

On the plane to Taipei, they sold wine in a can. It was actually very drinkable.
Flower clock in Yangmin Mountain Park. The sun was shining directly in my eyes, so the only way to have a photo without my eyes shut was to block out the sun with an umbrella.
In front of a statue of Chiang Kai Shek. The sun was still shining directly in my eyes, so to take this photo I tried to turn around just at the count of 3, but still couldn't a good photo.

A few more photos from Colorado. Below is a photo of my brother and brother-in-law, taken just after we had each drunk an Irish car bomb.

I've known Chris for well over 10 years now!

Photos from Colorado. These were taken in the backyard before Halloween. The pumpkins are ready to be harvested. By now, the leaves will have all fallen, and the ground may be covered with snow.
