Inside the Pergamon Museum, Berlin, Germany.

An entire wall from Iraq was transported piece-by-piece and reassembled in the museum.

To celebrate the special exhibit, there was even a "Babel" beer.

The Pergamon Museum had a special exhibit on Babylon, but unfortunately they didn't allow photos inside the special exhibit area.

Rather than pay for a hotel, we rented an apartment that was within walking distance of the conference. This is a park in between the apartment and the conference center.

A few photos of Berlin.

A few more photos at Potsdamer Platz, Berlin.

This giraffe is made completely out of legos! Because of the conference, I never got there early enough to go inside.

I found these garden pathways just off the main streets. Individual gardens still exist in such a big city.

Brandenburg Gate, Berlin.

Some shows are in every big city. I also saw that Mama Mia was playing (as a show, not movie) in Berlin.

Old streets of Lubeck.

I think this is an art museum. That would explain the people on the roof.

This is similar to the boat we took on the hour long cruise.

Inside the church, some of the stained glass scenes are scary.
