Click on this photo for a video of Hanoi traffic. Most streets don't have traffic signals. No one likes to stop, so they just drive more slowly. As a pedestrian, you just walk out into the street and let the motorcycles drive around you. At first it was intimidating, but I got used to crossing this street many times. This video is taken from a cafe above the street, while I waited before going to a water puppet show.
