The water puppet show had two levels of seating. Even the most expensive seats were only a few dollars. The puppets were controlled by people hidden behind the screens, and they moved upon the surface of the water. I wish I could understand what was said, since it was all in Vietnamese.

On the road I saw many houses with only the front of the building painted, as if no one would notice the sides were left unfinished.
