Even though the park is supposed to be a good place to watch wildlife, the birds are all too far away to see well because of the huge crowds. Thus, telescopes were set up for anyone to use. However, it seemed like only children could use them. I waited in line for several minutes only to get pushed aside by an 8 year old. Children are given a lot of freedom to do whatever they want in Hong Kong.

Yes, children are little emperors in HK (more so in China). To celebrate my nephew's kindie graduation, the whole family went to the finest shark's fin restaurant and the little guy gulped his 2 bowls of the finest fins like he would a glass of water. The maids get a good life too - whatever the little ones don't want.
