At the entrance to the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, for good luck you are supposed to add a rock to this pile and walk around 1 or 3 times.

Many of the richer Mongolians from Ulaan Baatar, have a dacha here.

This camel seems to have learned how to smile from the many tourists who came to snap a photo with him.

There is a cave at the top of this rock where many monks hid during the anti-Buddhist purging in Stalinist times. I climbed inside and it was a very small narrow, small place.
